Exciting new format!
In 2025 we are introducing a new format to the Kids STEM convention. This year, students will submit their projects via a recorded video submission. This will allow judges to spend more time making their decisions, and will allow students to present their projects to a wider audience on our celebration evening.

Please note:
Schools are capped at 20 students.
Cost is $30 per student.
Schools need to have teacher supervisors at the venues, numbers dependent on participating students.
By registering you are confirming that you are responsible for payment and that the participants will take part in all three phases of the 2025 Kids' STEM Convention.
Inspiration Day

Decoding the Universe – Exploring the unknown with nature’s hidden language
The Inspiration day is an opportunity for students to get hands on with STEM experts. Held at the University of Queensland, the we start with an engaging key note speaker that sets the tone for the day. Students will take part in workshops and presentations throughout the day, concluding with a plenary which aims to provide information and skills to move on to the next phase.
